Susten 100 MG Capsule contains a female hormone (chemical messenger) called Progesterone. It is used to treat problems related to hormonal imbalance. This includes menstrual problems like secondary amenorrhea (absence of three or more periods in a row) and pregnancy-related problems.

Susten 100 MG Capsule is used along with another hormone called estrogen to prevent endometrial hyperplasia (overgrowth or thickening of the lining of the uterus/womb) and symptoms of menopause (end of the menstrual cycle). This medicine is used in hormone replacement therapy as it helps to increase the levels of progesterone hormone in your body.

Susten 100 MG Capsule may lead to side effects such as nausea, headache, abnormal vaginal discharge, stomach pain, dizziness, diarrhoea or constipation, etc. These symptoms are usually seen during the first few weeks of therapy and decrease as your body adjusts to the medication. Never use Susten 100 MG Capsule if you are allergic to it.

Susten 100 MG Capsule can be taken with food. Take it at the same time every day to avoid any missed dose. The dose and duration of this medicine will be prescribed by the doctor based on your condition.

Susten 100 MG Capsule has to be taken with caution if you have/had breast cancer, unusual bleeding in the vagina or liver problems. Inform your doctor about your medical history before you start taking this capsule.
